Our companions on this planet live al over the place, from under the ocean to deep jungles and all the way to farms and barns. All you have to do is stick your head out the window and you'll probably spot some animals around you. The Animal Kingdom contains roughly 10 million different species! These include mammals, reptiles, birds and fish.
While many people consider animals to be less than humans, scientifically humans are considered to be a type of animal! Animals are not simply "walking-food", they are living creatures just like you and I, so try to respect them and treat them kindly.
